reproduction of Bohemian Gold coin from the early 1300's .. Only two originals exist today

Fortress Kasperk, high in the Bohemian Forest between Bavaria & Bohemia, was the location of where the first gold coins of Bohemia were produced in the early 1300's. The Fortress and the minting operations was controlled by the family from 1365 to 1411.

Tolar of 1614 of Karel von Liechtenstein. The coin and the Coat of Arms of Liechtenstein include the family's Arms.

Thaler of Marie Theresia, Empress of Austria from 1740 to 1780. Maria Theresia in 1755 eliminated the Jankovsky family's Austrian title and confiscated the family lands. The lands and property in Moravia either were taken by the crown or given to Austrian relatives.

Prior to 1893 John began the process of becoming U.S. citizen. Above is John's signature declaring his end of allegiance to the Emperor.

Czech Gold Ducat issued after 1918. The coin depict Duke Wenceslas who became king of Bohemia in the 900's and after his death saint of Bohemia. The family is recorded as being "Ancient Knights of the Bohemia from the house of Vlastislavici" i.e. Wenceslas.

Joachimsthal, in the Bohemian Ore mountains, was the mint that produce a great quantity of large silver coins . These large size coins, minted between 1515 and 1892, became known as "Thalers" in Europe and later "Dollars" in the US.
