Unlike ancient Bohemian hereditary rights, Austrian rights after 1625 allowed the transfer of property and title to the daughters. At Bitov the daughters became Baroness and Countess with the family lands eventually being transferred to the Austrian relatives. The family lost the Palace at Jemince to powerful relatives, the family Lamberka in 1734.

Upon the death of Jan Antonim in 1740 the Palace was transferred to his wife's family and Jan's son and daughters then lived with uncle František at the Bishops Court. František was able to re-claim Castle Bitov from Austrian relatives Von Daun in 1752.

Chateau at Slatina

owned until 1752 .. Imperial Arms of Jankovsky von Vlasching at Slatina .. the property was confiscated by the Crown after the 1622 revolt but was re-acquired by the family at Bitov in 1687.. then taken away again in 1752.

after a prolonged family feud between cousins, in 1755 Maria Theresa, Empress of Austria, awarded Castle Bitov to Maxmilian Francis Daunu, grandson of Maxmilian Arnost II Jankovsky, Count of Vlasim. The title Lords of Vlasim was eliminated at this time. The family Von Daun retained Castle Bitov until 1904.

Distant cousin Field Marshall Leopold Von Daun defeated Frederick the Great of Prussia in a series of battles during the Seven Year War of 1756 - 1763 and was rewarded by Marie Theresa "as savior of Austria"

Around the year 1775 the one remaining Jankovsky family from the ancient family of Bohemia returned to Bohemia. By 1788 the last of the remaining land in Western Moravia was transferred to the family Von Daun.

The family Jankovsky remained relatively wealthy for the next 100 years before coming to America, I believe, in part through the sale of remaining parcels of land. Daughter Barbara Jankovsky married Baron Franz Von Raule in 1829 and daughter Anna Jankovsky von Mayenhorst married Baron Wilhelm von Kralik jun. in 1862. All formal titles of Nobility and privileges were eliminated with the end of the Austrian Empire in 1918.
